Overview

Tyranak is an absurdly beefy tem with a fantastic defensive typing, a more than solid base ATK stat, and access to two game-warping traits - Intimidator, particularly, can be an extremely disruptive trait for opposing teams to work around. This is balanced out by an extremely limited offensive movepool - it is a Fire-Nature physical attacker without access to Frond Whip, Water-Cutting Lily, Quetza-Leno or Lava Wave. As such, it can be difficult for Tyranak to keep up with opponents that can buff themselves out of control, and needs some buffs from allies to deal optimal damage.

Description

(DUKE'S NOTES 1.3 - NAK ATTACK BABY DON'T LISTEN TO THE HATERS THIS THING STILL SLAPS NOW METEOR SWARM DOES EVEN MORE DAMAGE)

Tyranak set a very interesting precedent for the other mythical tems upon its release. It's statistical profile is impressive, with crazy good bulk and a more than respectable attack stat. Its typing is incredible defensively, weak only to toxic, and its traits, Intimidator and Frightening, are very, very powerful when utilized correctly.

This set focuses on Tyranak as a bulky, physical damage dealer that needs help to get that damage up to par, but makes up for it with very strong hold techniques and impressive bulk. Bait and Fake Beard opens Tyranak up stamina-wise, as the dino makes a great pivot. Mom's Lunch, Diabolo, Marbles, Fire Chip, War Drum and Sweatband are all viable options as well. A special shoutout to Talisman Tyranak, who relies more on spreading Doom through Extinction.

Tems that can threaten toxics work well with Nak - Tulcan's a good option, though you will lose Heater with this set. Tems that deal a lot of damage without relying on traits, like Mouflank, Tuvine, or Rhoulder, can also make good partners. In particular - Tyranak does a great job against most Mental tems, as those rely on their traits to be strong.
